Where do you see retail in 5 years?
Retail is soon going to serve as a platform that fuses the best of every department that makes a brand tick. Brick and mortar will have to function as interactive billboards, working especially with branding and marketing departments to create purpose and destination for clients to receive experiences. Merchandising strategies will have to shift and the need for cultural ambassadors who provide detailed data about our demographics will be essentials in creating innovative products and services. Retail professionals will have to have incredibly high emotional intelligence but will be trained to speak to their brand and product like true museum docents or professors that story tell about their field. We need more CEOs from Retail!
