Get to know what motivates your team. People are motivated by different things. Some are motivated by money. But many are motivated by other factors such as validation, growth or work life balance. When you know and more importantly care about what motivates an employee, you can better drive, inspire and reward them. This in turn delivers better results, cultivates a more fulfilled (happy) team and reduces turn over.
